Area of Production: Northern Rhône, surrounding Tain-l'Hermitage, St Donat, Tournon. Grape Variety: 100% Syrah Yield: Limited specifically to 60 hl par ha by the Cave de Tain. Vinification: 100% of the grapes are destemmed. Vatting in stainless steel tanks (8 to 10 days). Characteristics: Brilliant, deep ruby colour. Fresh nose of red fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant) with notes of spices (pepper, cinnamon), and a hint of liquorice. On the palate, supple and smooth tannins: a good expression of light structured Northern Rhône Syrah. Drink in the early years. Tasting: Serve at around 15°C (57°F). Ideal with white meat, but also grilled or roasted meat, barbecues, or simply by the glass.
