The diversity of soils and grape varieties explains why Rasteau wines have such complexity in their aromas and flavours and are so potent, fine and elegant. The average age of the vines is 40, though some plots are over 80 years old: grapes from the old vines are used for Rasteau Vin Doux Naturel and and Côtes du Rhône Villages. Read less
Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
