Delicated and strong wine! The sensation is simple and complex.
First off, I have the 2006 bottle on me now. I am drinking this while I write my comments. Hope it helps you. The Fragrant is what you taste to begin and finish. It is not gulpable. You want to sip this drink. It is Opaque. It took me about an hour on the first glass, and I feel mildly relaxed. To me it seems to be a medium-bodied, delicate red wine. It starts out smooth and silky, then ends up slightly dry. It has a good balance between bitter and sweet. It tends to hang more bitter than sweet. It does not list a alcohol content on the bottle, but I would say by the taste and not much of a bite it would be around 7% to 8% alcohol. It is better than low content alcohol, but not sure if you will get drunk off this bottle. Unlike all the other red wines I have had, this one seems to hold on to its flavor throughout the drink. The flavor is simple, yet somewhat complex. From start to finish; It tends to hold the same flavors and won't change on you. Overall, I would recommend if you want to sit down and enjoy a glass to relax yourself. Although if you are trying to get drunk, I would recommend you buy something else. Trying to gulp it down tends to sicken me for some reason, and I would highly not suggest this for a drunk man's wine. It is more like a relaxing, no headache, wine. It is a wine to sip and relax. It cost me $50 at a local wine tastery.
