Cavalierino Vino Nobile Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG 2008

Member Review by vino in love:

In the glass, the wine had an intense ruby red color. The bouquet was very aromatic: Black pepper, cinnamon, blackberries, blueberries, vanilla and other red fruits. Alcohol by volume was label listed at 13.5%. On the palate, Cavalierino's Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva was dry. I tasted some of the red fruits again that I smelled on the nose. Tannins were rather smooth. The wine was full-bodied and complex. The best part was the extremely, persistently long finish. I could taste the red and black fruits for such a long time. It was incredible. I'm still debating whether this vintage was better than the 2007 vintage. The wine will definitely be included in my top 10 in a future update. Vino Nobile di Montepulciano from Cavalierino is highly recommended. Tasting notes from Vino in Love: http://vinoinlove.com/2008-cavalierino-vino-nobile-vino-nobile-di-montepulciano-docg-riserva/

Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
