What to Expect
Chardonnay is America's most popular grape and with good reason. Made in styles that range from steely, mineral laced wines with crisp green apple fruit to wines that are buttery, rich, and laden with tropical fruits, there is a Chardonnay that will appeal to every palate. Chardonnay is most closely associated with France's Burgundy region and California's Northern valleys though it has proven successful around the globe.
Winemakers Notes
Tasting Notes :Parker hailed him as "Wine Personality of the Year": Nicolas Catena... Argentina's Visionary. One of our biggest joys is tasting thru Catena's extraordinary portfolio, which we did last week, most were new releases. There is no finer portfolio in the world.

Medium-bodied, the wine is nicely balanced by crisp acidity, and the flavors are intense and persistent. Drink this outstanding value over the next 1-2 years. When all is said and done, Catena Zapata is the Argentina winery of reference - the standard of excellence for comparing all others. The brilliant, forward-thinking read more...
