August 2008
One of Argentina's emerging stars, Catena has produced this deeply hued, full-bodied Cabernet that combines rich Napa-like fruit with mineral and spice notes. Reminiscent of the best Bordeaux reds.

drank July 2008 / a stellar Argentinian wine from a unique microclimate in Mendoza / serious deep berry flavors worthy of spicy food pairings / this was hands-down my favorite from a tasting of 60 Argentinian wines earlier this year
