Clear, light intensity, ruby wine with restrained aromas. Fresh strawberry, red cherry, white pepper, some earthiness, and vanilla on the nose. Dry, minimal tannin, good pronounced acidity, med- body and flavours match what's on the nose. Med- finish. Good.
Not bad but not a lot going on with this pinot, pretty much what you'd expect for the price. Light, with some bright cherry not much depth or finish.
Light, silky and inviting, with red berry and spice... -HS
warm & cozy
As is the case with most Pinots, this needs some time to breathe. This is an awesome Pinot for the price. I love Pinot Noir but do not drink much of it because it tends to be cost prohibitive. This one bucks the trend giving you $25/bottle quality for about $12. Can't go wrong with that. Nice garnet color. Classic nose, fruit forward with raspberry being predominant. A little black cherry and pepper to go with it. Fruity on the palate with a little spice on the back end and a good length on the finish. Great stuff.
This is about the best bang for the buck you can get in a Willamette Valley Pinot Noir.... and 2008 has proved to be an incredible vintage so far!!
