Ruby-colored medium-bodied Pinot. The Russian River Valley is one of the best areas for producing Pinot Noir in California. This Pinot is full of black cherry and spice aromas. The taste has oak, spice, and earthy quality. Mild tannins with a nice smooth, slightly smoky finish.
I have no specific reason for it but I prefer the less acclaimed willamette valley.
Finally a pinot I like.
