Castillo del Baron Monastrell Yecla 2011

Winemaker's Notes:

The Monastrell is an explosion of fresh, ripe red and black fruit, with a warm Mediterranean spicy/earthy twist. On the palate, the wine is soft and fruity, and very well-framed by crisp natural acidity. The finish is clean and harmonious.

Vintage: 2007 03/05/2009

This Monastrell comes from the high-altitude vineyards of Yecla, a region in southeastern Spain. Low yields create a richly concentrated and well-structured red wine. Notes of mocha, plum, and black cherry burst from the glass.
