Castillo de Molina Merlot Lontué Valley Reserva Viña San Pedro S.a 2009
A very leathery, grapey nose with some notes of cough syrup. Its a more restrained wine than I'm used to from Chile, there's a lot of fruit on the finish, but it's slow to start. Still very young and tight, with a green medicinal finish. Needs timeAdd winemaker's notes

24 hours later - better for sure. Cherry and leather dominate. Its not extremely fruity, but opened up a lot since it was opened.
Very luscious blackcurrant on the nose with nice smooth finish. Had it in decanter for 5 hours before consuming, no tightness at all.
I picked this up for $7 at my local wine store and it is a wonderful find. There are lots of bright red cherry flavors, vanilla and leather notes. I am very impressed with this wine for the price.
This merlot-cabernet sauvignion blend had a wonderfully smoky bouquet blended with the aroma of red berries. The smokiness was also very pronounced on the palate.
A reasonably comlpex, robust and intense flavored Cabernet Sauvignon with round tannins. Colour is ruby red with some violet tones. Aroma of berries with some toasted and vanilla-coffee touches. Lots of structure on the palate with plenty of wood and body. Long finish and aftertaste. A bargain at the current price.
