Castello di Meleto Sangiovese Blend Toscana IGT Rosso Toscano 2007
External Review by Premier Wine & Spirits:
Medium ruby. Fresh, uncomplicated nose redolent of redcurrant and red cherry. The palate offers more red cherry and raspberry, with youthfully chewy, almost chalky tannins that beg for food. A simple but well-made wine that will pick up flesh and volume with food.

The 2007 Rosso Toscano shows more plumpness and depth than the 2008, along with a darker profile of wild cherries, herbs, leather and licorice. A plush, polished close rounds things out in style. There is plenty of 2007 vintage character here. Anticipated maturity: 2010andndash;2013.
