This wine was a very smooth drinker and rather enjoyable. Although it did not have the boldness of some super tuscans, it is worth the price.

Wine Tasting Notes Rich purple and burgundy in color, this varietal has lingering aromas of aged leather and cedar with a hint of sour-cherry syrup, spiced with black pepper and nutmeg.~This wine is bold and spicy on the palate, with rounded blackberry accents and hummus flavors.~Smooth tannins, and a clean body and structure are well balance with the taste's dry sensation. Enjoy with roasted portabella mushrooms, roasted pork, or rabbit.~This wine can be enjoyed at present but with proper cellaring will improve and soften over the next five years.
