Wine Tasting Notes Rich purple and burgundy in color, this varietal has lingering aromas of aged leather and cedar with a hint of sour-cherry syrup, spiced with black pepper and nutmeg.~This wine is bold and spicy on the palate, with rounded blackberry accents and hummus flavors.~Smooth tannins, and a clean body and structure are well balance with the taste's dry sensation. Enjoy with roasted portabella mushrooms, roasted pork, or rabbit.~This wine can be enjoyed at present but with proper cellaring will improve and soften over the next five years.
