Opaque plum with brick rim, aromas of red stone fruits and chocolate, flavor notes of stewed cherries, dried plums, a kiss of orange and tar, with good acidity, silky tannins and balance, for a graceful exit. More dimensions appeared with aeration, but we emptied the bottle with the bottom of the minestrone pot and cheese course!

Decent Chianti. The nose could have shown something more but it had a nice enough pepperiness in the middle. Agreed, nothing remarkable.

Dry and light bodied with lots of fruit. Tasted thin and a bit boring to me.

Easy to drink, like it. Seems thin to me, a little boring, smooth, dry. Still like it. Cherry, blackberry, black pepper, clean finish. Great with lasagna! Guests enjoyed. Drank it in 2010 vintage also - not as good.

The 2007 Chianti DOCG is a ruby red color. The nose exhibits fragrant aromas of violets and a fruity bouquet of red fruits. The dry, medium-bodied palate shows flavors that echo the nose along with round, supple tannins that envelope the mouth, and a finish

Wine Tasting NotesThis wine is clear, bright and ruby-red in color. The bouquet is reminiscent of ripe plums spiced with pepper and wood nuances. The first sip reveals invigorating flavors of sour cherry, blackberry, and spice followed by a dry vivid finish.

The 2007 Chianti Classico is a bright, ruby red color in the glass, with a light floral bouquet reminiscent of violets and fruity blackberry on the nose. Rich tannins and flavors of black pepper, sweet spices, and a touch of light, toasted oak fill dry, medium-bodied palate, while the finish is persistent and clean.

Farbe: intensives Rubinrot.

Farbe: Dunkles Pflaumenrot; Bouquet: Florale Aromen (Veilchen), beerig, Tabaknote; Körper: Brombeeraromen, würzig, weiche Tannine, ausgewogen, gute Struktur. Ein Wein mit einem ausgezeichneten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.
