Rich and dense, with plum, cherry and underbrush flavors, hinting at leather. This is supple and elegant, offering firm grip on the finish. Drink now through 2018. BS - Wine Spectator Magazine 89 PointsThe 2011 Chianti Colli Senesi shows all kinds of floral intensity with pressed violets and red rose. It offers a steady flow of berry and sour cherry aromas with tightly polished tannins. This is a great value. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2018. - Robert Parker 88 Points

Bright red. Strawberry, red cherry and violet on the nose. Bright and fresh on the palate, with crunchy red fruit and mineral flavors carrying through on the lively, clean, long finish. With its bright fruit cocktail quality, this is an excellent example of just how much early appeal an easygoing Chianti can have. I was generous with my score given its yum factor. The 2010 Chianti Colli Senesi is a gorgeous wine at this level. Dark red cherries, flowers, mint, licorice and tobacco flesh out beautifully in this generous, inviting Chianti. The 2010 is a terrific wine for the money. Farnetella adds 8% Merlot to Sangiovese in the blend. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2014. ** SOLD OUT **
