This Chianti Classico is so rich and intense that it easily lives up to its centuries-old pedigree. For 900 years, the medieval castle known as the Castello della Paneretta has sat in the southwest corner of the Chianti Classico zone - truly one of the most beautiful spots in all of Tuscany. The wine is full of ripe flavors of wild berries, chocolate, cedar, and wildflowers, while the tannic structure is supple, voluptuous and approachable on the palate.
