The latest change in management, however, came in 1985, when the Zonin family acquired the property and eventually reunited the different territories and vineyards within the area. The property has almost 450 acres of land, with about 400 of that under vine. Thanks to the hard work of Corrado Surano, winemaker and manager of Castello del Poggio, the winery currently produces over 400,000 bottles of wine annually. Read less

Not an avid wine connoisseur but tried this wine at Olive Garden and fell in love with it. The only problem is I can't find where to buy it.

Green table grapes and citrus/grapefruit on the nose. This wine always exhibits such a nice, sweet perfume. On the palate, sweet nectar of lavender honey and red delicious apple. Honeysuckle, treacle. Rather like Turkish delight. Super smooth and tasty. Always refreshing.

Winemaker's Notes - Sweet but not at all cloying; well-balanced and with an extremely refined fruitiness. The bouquet is intense and very inviting, with delicate scents of underbrush, musk and peaches. A straw-yellow color with golden reflections and a delicate mousse.
