Castello del Poggio Moscato d'Asti 2012

Winemaker's Notes:

Colour: Straw-yellow with golden reflections and a delicate mousse. Bouquet: Intense and very inviting, with delicate scents of underbrush, musk and peaches. Flavour: Sweet but not at all cloying; well-balanced and with an extremely refined fruitiness. Food matches: Excellent at the end of a meal with desserts or fruit (especially fruit salad). Also delicious with ice cream, or just on its own as an accompaniment to conversation among friends.

The property has almost 450 acres of land, with about 400 of that under vine. Thanks to the hard work of Corrado Surano, winemaker and manager of Castello del Poggio, the winery currently produces over 400,000 bottles of wine annually. Read less
