What to Expect

Barbera is one of the classic Grapes of Italy's Piedmont region, though it is popular throughout much of Northwest Italy and has gained a following in California. Searing acidity has been a trait of Barbera though modern viticultural techniques and warmer regions have tamed the acidity, resulting in medium-bodied wines with bright, red fruit tones that feature hints of violets, earth and plum with just a whisper of tannin.

Excellent...especially for the price.
Was on a cruise about a year ago, and I chose this as our table wine the first night and every night after that.
Robust, vibrant, and perfect to have with pasta or steak.
