Castelgiocondo 2004

Winemaker's Notes:

PRE-SELLThe color ids deep and intense ruby red. The bouquet is rich, opening with scents of mint and ripe fruit which lead into spicier notes of coffee at the finish. The entry on the palate reveals perfectly integrated tannins complemented by a good but not excessive alcohol level and well balanced acidity. The finish is ling and persistent.

Weingut: FrescobaldiLand: ItalienRegion: ToskanaRebsorten: 100% SangioveseInhalt: 0,75 lAlkoholgehalt: 13,5 Vol.%Fassreife: in Barriques gereift (24 Monate) Empfohlene Serviertemperatur: 16-18 °C Suche nach Rebsorten > Rote Rebsorten > Sangiovese

Shows a complex nose of blackberry, tanned leather, sandalwood and cedar. Fascinating. Full-bodied, with supersilky tannins and a long, long finish. Concentrated yet balanced. Beautiful and complete.
