Castelfeder Pinot Grigio "15" 2011
The grapes were pressed softly, clarified through natural gravity settling of the sediments and finally fermented separately (as all our withes) in Stainless steel tanks at low temperatures (18°-21°C)to retain the classic aromatic qualities. Prior bottling the wine is aged for 5 month on the fine lees in the tank.

Rich and a bit of woodsy at first then turning sweet and lightly floral on the nose with hints of pineapple and honeycomb. Wow, if this isn’t rich and elegant in the mouth, it really flows softly across the palate with flavors that are very fresh and pure orchard fruit toned, though this seems like it has a touch of sweetness though a lovely hint of bitterness and edgy mineral note provide nice contrast. This could use a bit more acidity though if you prefer a creamy textured wine creamy texture you’re gonna love this. 92pts
Canned peaches and deli flowers in the aroma, nice balanced fruit acidity on the body with a nice amount of sweetness. I like the fruit and grassiness of the whole thing, tropical finish.
Easily the best PG I've ever tasted. Much more supple and round than most PGs, with still a lot of nice acidity. Apples & pears on the nose, nice minerality on the finish. Good stuff.
A nose of pears, apples, and a bit of peach. In the mouth, this wine is fairly dry and light, with the nose of ripe pear and apple flavors. I bit of minerality on the finish.
Creamy citrus nose. Meringue. Some stone fruit. Good weight on the palate with a rich texture. Hints of smoke. Creme bruleée, vanilla and white flowers. Bright citrus and suggestions of austere stone fruit. Nice acid. Linger on a slightly toasted edge and light mineral. 92 pts.
Very aromatic Flowery bouquet and fresh fruits. Tasted melon and some pear. So delicate. A nice dry finish.
A mineral and floral aroma and a nice light flavor to follow. I could definitely enjoy a glass of this with a light salad.

Light green lustres run through the radiant straw-yellow colour of this wine, whose aroma is rich in fruits, the most striking of which are paers and apples. An excellent balance gives this wine strenght and structure. It is dry and smooth on the palate with a pleasant, mineral aftertaste. Pinot gris goes well with many dishes, especially lighter foods, fried mushrooms and fresh water fish.
