Light honey/orange color, crystal clear, no sediment whatsoever. On swirling, it leaves a thin clear coat on the inside of the glass with long thin legs. Wonderful bright appearance, lovely natural color. First Impression: Alcohol and grain, plump smell of grain, heavy redolent smell of blood orange - like you are peeling a fresh one. No trace of off notes or the smell of rubbing alcohol that many vodkas suffer from. A carefully done distillation. Taste: Plump grain body, Orange oil, and herbal, alkali, warm finish. Blood orange peel seems to yield some bitter notes to the orange oil taste. Slightly oily and wonderfully thick body.
Blood Orange Mimosa is a wine cocktail made from grape wine and the juice and pulp of the celebrated, crimson-fleshed Sicilian blood oranges. The finest cultivars are orchestrated to achieve the best combination of flavours, fragrance and color: the darkest-hued, Moro; Tarocco, the tastiest and sweetest and the tender Sanguinello.Light, fruity, refreshing and flavorsome.
