Casa Valduga Identidade Marselan 2010

Editorial Review by Gregory Dal Piaz:

7 days vilification, eight months in oak, second passage, Stemmy, herbal, sweet French oak notes, has a hint of proceeds, cab franc like black soil tones, quite floral and fragrant, a fairly cab dominant aromatic profile though with a jammy red fruit character laid over it, bright, much lighter bodied than expected, very fresh, very clear on the palate, firm, gritty little tannins, also quite sapid, fruit skin tannins and then wood tannins layered over, decent length, a little woodsy/stemmy, mulberry and plum then turning very plummy on the finish, a solid wine that finishes with pomegranate seed astringency and exotic fruit inner mouth perfumes, 88pts

Casa Valduga:
One of the biggest Brazilian producers of fine wine. Lots of technology and proffessional efforts make its large range of wines always very reliable. Its Gran Reserva Brut and Nature are fantastic.

Weingut: Casa ValdugaLand: BrasilienRegion: Val dos VinhedosRebsorte: Cabernet Sauvignon, GrenacheInhalt: 0,75 lAlkoholgehalt: 14,0 Vol.%Säuregehalt: 5,0 g/lRestsüße: trockenFassreife: in Barriques gereift (6-9 Monate) Empfohlene Serviertemperatur: 16-18°C Rotwein > Brasilien > Val dos Vinhedos
