Casa Valduga Ancellota Identidade 2006

Editorial Review by Gregory Dal Piaz:

Intense, funky, stemmy, earthy, leathery, a little juniper, rubber, spice, wild berry and pink peppercorn, medium bodied, bright, firm small tannins, funky, earthy, iron and rust tinged palate, a little Grignolino quality, a bit of earthy oxidation, very austere tannins, powerful finish, more raspberry toned, long, a little minty and rocky on the finish. This is really quite distinctive and interesting. 89pts

Casa Valduga:
One of the biggest Brazilian producers of fine wine. Lots of technology and proffessional efforts make its large range of wines always very reliable. Its Gran Reserva Brut and Nature are fantastic.
