Casa Silva Carménère Colchagua Valley Gran Reserva Los Lingues 2005
Good medicinal flavors associated with this ancient grape variety. Cloaked in a robe of yummy blackberry flavors, these notes of eucalyptus are true joy - especially for the price. Medium finish with good black fruit lingering on the palate. A very decent wine for the price and to be recommended!
Smooth and reserved, slightly musky with a hint of pepper. Very laid-back wine, a bit more punch and I would call it "elegant".
Great wine! Mr. Mario Geise showed us a great reason why Chile has developed this microterroir with Carmenere grape. Congrats to Casa Silva and Mr. Mario. Price in Brazil R$ 233 or US$ 115.

Intense, dark, ruby red with violet hues. On the nose, powerful, withnotes of blackberry, toffee and fudge. On the palate, soft, sweettannins, round, excellent acidic balance, very good structure withnotes of black fruits and blueberry notes. Long, long finish.
Dark ruby colour. On the nose, elegant aromas of ripe redfruits and notes of black pepper and tobacco. Very powerful, yet soft, it is round on the palate with firm tannins, that leadto a very long, lingering finishing.
