Casa Silva Cabernet Sauvignon Colchagua Valley Quinta Generación 2002

External Review by We Speak Wine:

(a blend of 50% cabernet sauvignon, 30% carmenere and 10% each shiraz and petit verdot) Dark red. Oak-spicy blackberry and charred meat aromas, with complicating notes of anise and sweet mocha. Lush and deep in the mouth, with the oak tones nicely matched to the sweet dark berry flavors. Suave and just ripe enough, the cassis tone expanding with air. A sexy, intriguing wine with impressive texture and excellent length.Big and ripe, with cotton candy, raspberry and vanilla on the nose. The blend is 50% Cabernet, with smaller doses of Carmenère, Syrah and Petit Verdot thrown in. Mouthfeel is an attribute inthis case, as the fruit is plump, the tannins correct and the acidity integrated. Imported by Vin Divino. - M.S. ** Only 13 in Stock **
