User Reviews for Casa Marin Pinot Noir

Winemaker's Notes:

Tasting Notes: The San Antonio Valley appellation is particularly influenced by marine climatic conditions, creating cooler temperatures which distinguish it from other appellations in Chile. This results in longer grape ripening periods, making it an ideal location for our wines to display unique characteristics. Percentage Grape: 100% Pinot Noir, 777 clone, masal selection Soil: calcareous soil in eastern exposure slope Date of Harvest: harvesting in mid-April Type of Harvest: hand-picked grapes Vinification Method: 100% barrel fermentation bottled unfiltratered to better express the wine character Percentage New Barrel: 60% french oak Type of Wood: 60% new french oak Malolactic: 100% malolactic fermentation in 60% french oak Alcohol Percentage: 14.5 % PH: 3.59 Total Acidity: 3.33 g/l
