Add your reviewPale color. Inviting bouquet on the nose. Hints of apple, peach, apricot, melon herbs and minerals, but a tad sour. Highly acidic. Light body. Just fair for me. - Schreiner's Winers "Springtime Sauvignon Blanc" Tasting 3/12/10

Metallic golden color. Medium-bodied. Moderately extracted. Ripe citrus, brown spice. Clean ripe citrusy aromas show a smoky note that follows through well on the palate. Brown spices linger on the finish. Ripe, straightforward style.
There are over 30,000 cases of the 1997 Sauvignon Blanc, which is a terrific Sauvignon, with gobs of melony, floral, and honeyed fruit, medium body, a plush texture, and outstanding purity.
Cool lemon rind, spice and fresh herb aromas. Supple, creamy, ripe and satisfying...
Spices and minerals can be discerned in the aromatics of the 2001 Sauvignon Blanc. Light to medium-bodied and revealing appealing white fruit flavors, this well-made wine has good grip and a refreshing character. Drink it over the next 12 months.
A piercing grapefruit aroma, the hallmark of Casablanca Sauvignon Blanc, is strong here, and there's a certain stony peachiness and some passion fruit as well. There's also a touch of green pepper and asparagus at the flavor core, and then some vanilla at the end. If that sounds like a lots to ponder, it is - probably too much, given the wine.
Perhaps the finest Sauvignon Blanc from South America, this Chilean white has honeyed melon and ripe fig flavors. The herbaceous quality of this varietal is very muted, mingled with a subtle mineral quality. It is superb with shellfish or simply on its own.
Winemaker's Notes:
Color: Delicate light yellow color with lime green hints. Nose: Expressive and fresh nose with sweet citrus fruit, white flowers, pears and nectarine with touches of lychee. Palate: Fresh mouth feel with a very nice palate. Notes of minerality at the finish.
