Great value, especially since this has the capacity to develop further complexity over the next four or five years. Deep crimson. Real kick of refreshment on a notably voluptuous base. Round, rather elegant, without a sweet undertow and all the better for it. Next to a bordeaux it could seem a bit simple, but there would be remarkably few red bordeaux at this price that would deliver so much fruit.

Opulent, full and a little formless at this stage. Some spicy notes, very flattering. Lots and lots of fruit (as opposed to animal or mineral notes) but its gentle dry finish keeps this very sweet wine in check.

Intense red ruby color. Very expressive and attractive nose of red fruit, jam, cherry and blackberry, combined with sweet notes of chocolate and coffee. Rich and concentrated in the mouth, the wine is dense, filling and well structured. The tannins are round, with good presence. A delicious wine of great aging potential, with an elegant and persistent finish.
