What to Expect

Chardonnay is America's most popular grape and with good reason. Made in styles that range from steely, mineral laced wines with crisp green apple fruit to wines that are buttery, rich, and laden with tropical fruits, there is a Chardonnay that will appeal to every palate. Chardonnay is most closely associated with France's Burgundy region and California's Northern valleys though it has proven successful around the globe.

Winemakers Notes

Dense, rich and creamy in the mouth, with a well balanced acidity that makes it alive and fresh, with a very pleasant and persisting finish.

Wine Spectator ReviewRated 90 SMART BUYNicely focused, with a racy core of fig, hazelnut and pear notes that stays pure and elegant as the toasty edge remains in the background. The finish is long and juicy. Very stylish. Drink now through 2008.

Brilliant golden-yellow color. Intense, elegant and clean nose, where the tropical fruits, pineapple and citrus, predominate on very nice toasty notes coming from a well integrated wood. Delicious, fleshy and nicely-structured wine in the mouth, with a well balanced acidity that keeps it alive. A good alliance of freshness and complexity.

This elegant Chardonnay is delicately perfumed with hints of white flower and yellow fruit, yet on the palate it becomes assertive, with a round, full mouthfeel and a long, lovely finish.
