Wine Enthusiast ReviewRated 89Not as lush and sweet as the 2003, but still showing the blend's earthy fruit, spice, leather and moderate richness. The nose is saturated with a combination of oak, dark plum and blackberry, and there's a charred essence to the palate, which shows modest tannins and medium depth. Finishes solid but a little resiny. Drink now through 2009.Wine Tasting NotesDeep red ruby with purple hints. Elegant, rich and complex. A rare balance were the unique mix of red fruit from St Emilion, violets of the Grands Vins of Pomerol and Rhone and notes of cassis and black fruits from Burgundy play together with perfect harmony. The oak adds complexity with nutmeg, vanilla and sweet spices notes. Soft and concentrated, with a beautiful freshness that gives a balance and a dimension of this unique composition of flavours followed by a long and elegant finish. 35% Syrah, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Carmenere, 15% Pinot Noir, 10% Merlot.
