Casa de la Ermita:
Based in Jumilla, Spain this winery seperates itself from most Spanish wineries by its use of the Petit Verdot grape, which is used in more than half of their wines. Eclectic yet old world.

Very chewy and round, with complex plum and black cherry fruits. The smokey undertones would seem to pair it well with grilled meats, though if you open it before the food is served, it will be gone.

Massive, mouth-filling, with lost of spice and currant. Very elegant nose, and long finish. The best 100% Petit Verdot I have tried so far, and one of the few /if not the only only single variety PV you can find in Bulgaria

Colour: Very deep red in colour, almost opaque, with a deep purple rim.Nose: Aromas of ripe, black fruits such as plum can be detected with floral notes of violet and lavander with an elegant hint of orange.Taste: On the palate following its initial sweetness, flavours are mainly dominated by over-ripe black fruits, however there are hints of chocolate & coffee. Tasty, sumptuous, strong and elegant with a fresh and balsamic lengthy finish.
