Casa Amada Carmenere Casa Silva Chili 2006

Winemaker's Notes:

Bright and intense ruby red.On the nose, aromas of black cherries and plums with hints of spices. On the palate, flavoursome: round, powerful, with sweet soft tannins and balanced acidity. Long finish. Food pairings An amazingly diverse variety which will accompany a broad range of dishes. Excellent with beef and steak, it also works perfect with Mexican fajitas, kebabs and souvlakis. Also enjoy it with lamb ribs, grilled chicken or ravioli with bolognese sauce.

Authentic Chilean style. Dark almost purple core with deep sooty red at the fringes. A blend of concentrated blackberry and plum softened by some red fruit character. Distinctive dried herbal and white pepper spice character. A superb balance of full fruit, good acidity, sweet French oak, and full tannins on the long lingering finish. Cutting edge grape coming into its own a premiere producer.
