This is a wonderful entry level pinot noir. Very mild. Dark and earthy notes on the nose. Plum and cherry on the palate. This wine has a very clean smooth finish of medium length. I was very pleasantly surprised.

A darn good Pinot Noir for the price. We typically pay twice as much for a pinot and get half the enjoyment that we got with Cartledge and Browne. Defintely a staple in the wine rack.

Drank this last night with a simple salad of grilled chicken and goat cheese. Wow... pretty amazing pinot for the price. Good earthy backbone, fruit is mellow and not over-ripe, good oak nose / flavor, silky finish and a bit of licorice/anise spice on the nose. Highly recommend as an entry-level pinot noir! 2 wino thumbs up!!

30 mins after opening the wine was pleasantly balanced with mild earth ad spice and pleasant plum and berry fruit. The next day after leaving half the bottle re-corked (but not vacuum aspirated or nitrogenated) the earthy quality was very developed, almost outshining the now less bright but wonderfully rich fruit. At this price it's a real score, especially after a decent aeration (I would give it at least 30-45 mins of air before drinking). Anise and other spice notes were lovely with a stir fry of spinach and Florence fennel (finnocchio) sautueed with garlic and a bit of soy sauce.

The medium garnet-hued 2008 Pinot Noir offers smoky herb, red currant, and pomegranate notes in an evolved style. It represents a decent value. These noteworthy values are consistently well-made wines meant for uncritical drinking during their first 1andndash;2 years of life.

This is a smooth, silky Pinot Noir with flavors of plum, berry, Asian spice and anise. This pairs well with grilled lamb or salmon.

Focussed cherry flavors enhanced by toasty oak. Excellent with chicken, and turkey, salmon and cold cuts.

Wine lovers who want to figure Pinot out but are on a limited budget would do well to but this one. It's properly dry and silky, with cherry, strawberry, cola, tea and cinnamon clove flavors. The wine, made from components from Mendocino to Santa Barbara, is a testament to the fine art of blending.
