Carta Roja Gran Reserva 2004

Winemaker's Notes:

*Awarded Bronze - International Wine and Spirits Challenge 2010* Bodegas San Isidro was founded on 1934 as “El Progreso” Agricultural Syndicate. It was renewed on 1943, and changed its name to “Caja Rural Coopertiva Agrícola San isidro”, initiating a new era of growth and expansion of our wines in both domestic and international markets. BSI participates actively in the Jumilla Denomination of Origin Control Board since it was created in 1966, promoting its recognition in the world of winemaking. This Gran Reserva is full bodied with red fruit aromas and is not as dry as some other Spanish reds. On the palate there are flavours of plums and ripe red cherry, with notes of vanilla (due to being aged in oak barrels) and hints of sweetness. Try this smooth and fruity red with roasted lamb.
