Deep blueish crimson. Firm, spicy opulent fruit on the nose. Lots of structure. Extremely fruity and winning. The 2002 also has good integrity and is drier than most with some tannins still evident.

Firm, blackcurranty and quite complex bouquet, spicy oak. Fine, well-extracted blackcurrant, liquorice fruit, good tannins and acidity. Drink up to 2010.
