Carpineto Cabernet Sauvignon Toscana IGT Farnito 2004
Hand-harvested in late September through early October through scrupulous selection directly in the vineyard. Over 10-15 days, fermentation and maceration occurred at 25-29°C in stainless steel tanks. The wine was aged in previously-used French and American oak barrels for 10-12 months. It was filtered then bottled and cellared for a minimum of 8 months. If stored properly, this wine has the potential to further develop for a decade or more.
