Carpenè Malvolti Prosecco Prosecco Carpene Malvolti NV
This delightful Prosecco is straw yellow with greenish hues. The nose is fruity, with good intensity and notes of mature fruit. The dominating scent is Golden Delicious apple. In the mouth the wine is fresh, with good body, pleasant and harmonious. The bubbles are very fine and persistent. Excellent throughout the meal, this is particularly ideal with risotto, pasta dishes in general, fish and white meat.
Everything a Prosecco should be. Mostly dry, great persistent perlage. Mellow citrus flavors. Perfect party wine, everybody likes it. I rate it a five, because in its category, it's the best out there. Truly delightful.
A sold Prosecco offering - just the ticket for those warm evenings on the Lido. Peach, pear and cooking apples on the palate in a fairly dry, cleansing admixture; nose quite neutral with some yeasty bread present. Good mousse with continuous, friendly bubbles. Always a winner.
This is a decent Prosecco with fine, continuous effervescence and a light (almost imperceptible) nose. Excepting the "Brut" nomenclature for the moment, the taste experience is minimalist with a touch of fresh bread and vanilla. Still, on the Plaza of St. Mark in Venice, this would be a winner - if not entirely in the the off-dry tradition. At the price I purchased this wine, a bargain indeed (we'll keep that a secret).
This prosecco was dry and bubbly. The color was almost clear. It was one of the favorites of the evening.
The best of all the Proseccos I've tasted.
