What to Expect

Argentina, and in particular the region around Mendoza, is making a name for itself as the source of some of the finest expressions of Malbec ever made. In this warm, yet dry climate the Malbec achieves near perfect ripeness endowing the wines with a velvety texture and intense flavors of blackberry, peppery spice, and balsamic herbs. The cooler, well-drained slopes of the hillsides of the region have proven to be ideally suited for Malbec, allowing for the wines to achieve a level of complexity and harmony that rivals those of Napa or Bordeaux.

Amancaya é um magnífico corte de Cabernet Sauvignon e Malbec, em um estilo elegante, bem francês. O bouquet é bastante complexo e sutíl, mostrando várias nuances e aromas maduros, com carvalho muito fino, de excelente qualidade. No palato é encorpado e muito sofisticado. Um vinho de fantástica relação qualidade/preço, tem recebido excelentes notas da imprensa especializada. Robert Parker: 91 pontos (06) Wine Spectator: 89 pontos

So delicious and such a wonderful price. This is one of my favorite wines. A great mix of old world and new. You get the structure and the elegance from the cabernet, and the lush fruit from the malbec. Go out and find this wine.
