Carnivor Cabernet Sauvignon 2012
I have had this wine a few times over the last few months and absolutely loved it. This is not your normal overpowering red. It was super approachable and juicy, but without the tannins that keep many people away from Cabernets.
This was a great find at under $10. Full bodied, extremely dark color almost the darkest I've ever experienced. Tasting is that this is a sweet wine, not on the savory side. The acidity added brightness to the overall experience. Vanilla, chocolate and a very mellow tannin after taste. Rate this one very high
Fruit forward, a hint of spice. So inky and thick. I was going to brush my teeth after every sip. A bit too dry, but manageable. The legs were so prominent, the glass could have walked away on its own.
I like it.
Ok for a weeknight. Not something I would seek out again.
I agree! This is my favorite California Cabernet ! rich bold fruity and soft tannins. I been stocking up on this wine Really surprised how dark this is.reminded me of a black wine from Cohors France.love love love it !
