Carmen Merlot Gran Reserva 2009

Winemaker's Notes:

This Gran Reserva Merlot has aromas of truffles, dark chocolate, ripe plums, intense wild berry and hint of exotic spices. The mouth is soft and generous, the attack is sweet and the wine finish is long and vibrant with tannins very well integrated. Great with veal, poultry, game, pasta dishes with meat sauce, mushrooms and ratatouille.

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
