- Typical cabernet aromas, blackcurrants with a touch of woody spice. In the mouth it shows a charming rustic quality, loads of herby notes, with a black olive minerality. Lovely smooth tannins, v good length. A really delightful wine.
- September 2008
- In seven months In Argentina, I tried nothing comparable to Señor Carmelo's Cab. I feel horribly guilty, because I drank up a bottle meant for sharing with My friend, restaurateur Christophe Gourdain, all by myself. Perfectly balanced & complex, the blackcurrant is enlivened by subtle mentholated typicity. I'll have to find a few bottles to share & to put away.

- One of Argentina’s most respected and enigmatic winemakers, Carmelo Patti takes the term “handcrafting” to another level. All vineyard management, harvesting, winemaking, bottling and labeling is all done by hand – his own. His Cabernets are aged at least 12 months in French oak and another 12 months in the bottle. A pure, fruit forward wine that reveals an earthy, cherry-infused palate with hints of green pepper and fennel followed by a smooth, lasting finish. A juicy steak or a selection of hard cheeses beautifully complements this wine.
