Carmel Cabernet Sauvignon Upper Galilee 2009

Winemaker's Notes:

An extraordinary wine, the 2003 Carmel Kayoumi Cabernet Sauvignon is aging gracefully. With luscious flavors and soft tannins, it is saturated with black currant, berry and spicy wood. Fermented for one year in stainless steel and then aged for 17 months in new and one year old French oak barrels, hints of smoked meat, Oriental spices and tobacco are present. Drink now-2014. Daniel Rogov, 92.

Luscious and elegant, deep garnet, full-bodied and softly tannic, the aroma and palate display blackcurrant, berry and spice intermingled with Oriental spices and tobacco.
