Carlo Rossi's Paisano is my every-day table wine. Is it superb? No. Is it very good? Yes. It goes with just about anything, and adding a little sweet lemonade in summer makes a pleasant sangria-like drink. It's a staple in my house.

I think the charm in this Paisano is simply nostalgic to me. It is the closest thing I've had on a store shelf to my late uncle's home made wine. I've introduced this to many friends, and while the conversation continues, the bottle slowly disappears.

I would say 90% of the italian population in Memphis Tn,have paisano wine in their homes. It is very much like the homemade wine a lot of us grew up around when our fathers and grandfathers made it.It was introduced as a wine to cover that need years ago. For the price it is as good as it gets
