Really great aged fruity nose. Dry acidic flavor with powdery tannins.
Lean and slightly tart start, which slowly evolves into stout tannins. It's a big, baked wine, with notes of prunes on a finish thats still closed.
So far this is my favorite wine. You have to open the bottle some time before starting to drink, this happens with most Portuguese wines. It is soft, harmonious flavor that I think goes well with meat dishes or just with the scenery!

Made from Touriga Nacional, this fresh red wine shows firm dark fruit, warm spices, and a gentle touch of fresh tobacco on the finish. It has a great tannic structure that allows it to hold up to big, meaty dishes.
