The 2006 is ripe and deep ruby with a strong tannic structure and fairly high acidity with complex fruit. At 14.5% alcohol, this wine is a bit unbalanced at present and benefits from being served cool at cellar temperature. It should benefit from 2 or 3 years of cellaring and is definitely a food wine as it has a tannic finish at present. For a short term keeper, a good value for under $10.

Farbe: dunkles Rot mit violetten Reflexen. In der Nase reich und intensiv mit Noten von schwarzen und roten Früchten, kandierten Früchten und süssen Gewürzen. Am Gaumen grosszügig, aromatenreich. Beeindruckende Finesse, fruchtig, schön konzentriert, kräftig und harmonisch.
