Very forward, attractive aromas of spice, black raspberry, plum and sweet earth seem to jump out of the glass and give you a good preview of what’s going to hit your palate. In the mouth, this Monte is jammy (a lot of rich, ripe, jam-like flavors) upfront, with a smooth texture, and is balanced out nicely by good acidity and mild to medium tannins. Some spice notes and earthy hints round out the ripe black raspberry finish, which is balanced and enjoyable. Showing exceptional depth and complexity.

This is what this wine style is all about. You get a sweet, syrupy, deep nose and then lots of fruit on the palate followed by an incredibly dense, dark, chocolaty finish. Itrsquo;s a full-force express, bold, zippy and solid.

Excellent color with a sexy nose of black cherry and fudge that invite you in. Ripe and jammy yet focused attack of maraschino cherry rule the day. Well balanced with plenty of grip to make this a food seeker or a treat by itself. - Winery
