- Deep and fragrant, with subtle floral notes mingling with focused wild berry, cedar, earth and tobacco. Lovely, velvety finish. Ready to drink now and over the next four or five years.

- Ripe and juicy, with perfumed and peppery tones over forward fruit characters. Densely textured with ripe, rich black fruit flavours and spicy aromas. Will develop well. Drink 2009-14.

- Fantastic! After about thirty minutes of decanting this wine came out of its shell with an almost overwhelming aroma of cherry and earth. Very full bodied and bold, this wine was almost over the top, but paired nicely with a piece of veal or Kobe its manageable (ha!).
