Classification: Fortified wine of Denomination of Origin Location: Province of Trapani, Marsala and sour of Mazara del Vallo Climate: Mediterranean, mild winters, limited rainfall, very hot and windy summer Soil: Medium mixture, sandy, slightly clayey, a few meters above sea level Harvest: Traditional, manual Grapes: Grillo, Catarratto Vinification: After fermentation, the wine is added to pure alcohol until they reach the best grade Ageing: More than 25 years in oak barrels for 20 hl. Alcohol: 19% vol Color: Amber Nose: Dry, intense and persistent with scents of dried figs, toasted hazelnut and licorice Taste: Dry, warm and harmonious with an elegant background of bitter almonds Food match: aperitif wine, perfect with blue cheese pasta tasty takes on average, excellent in combination with dried fruit and Tuscan cigars Service: Glass dessert type, temperature 10 ° - 12 ° C Temperature: 16 ° C constant temperature, controlled light, horizontal bottle
