User Reviews for Cantine Belisario Verdicchio di Matelica Riserva Cambrugiano

Winemaker's Notes:

Cantine Belisario is a 300-hectare co-operative founded in 1971. Today, 24 of the vineyards are biodynamic. It is the biggest producer of Verdicchio in the Matelica DOC which although lesser known than the Castelli di Jesi, can be every bit as good. Belisario’s vineyards are situated inland, in the Esina Valley, Matelica, where the climate is more continental. The combination of warm days and cool nights gives a longer growing season, which in turn ensures good flavour in the grapes.
