Winemaker's Notes:

The winery was established in the late 1970s by Marcello Zaccagnini, who had previously worked as a farmer in his father’s vineyards, whose fruit was sourced by other winemakers. When the market for those grapes died out, he decided to produce wine himself, with his cousin Concezio as the winemaker, eventually building a successful family business. The value-driven wines are produced with a signature grapevine twig wrap, which has been a key point in its successful brand recognition among consumers. The wines are produced as still reds, whites and that regional Abruzzo rosé specialty, Cerasuolo.  Read less
